The current odds that equities, fixed, commodities and currencies will move and trend together today.
The idea is that risk increases with the number of markets that are concurrently trending. This is a very simple peer effects model – a standing ovation model. So the more markets that ‘stand’ the more likely that more markets stand and that the ‘applause’ – the momentum – will grow.
Live Trend Odds (here) tracks the number of markets currently trending (standing) within a sample of markets. The higher the odds, the more markets that are trending. The more markets that are trending the higher the odds all the markets will continue to trend.
Live Trend Odds are updated every 30 minutes from the European open thru 14:00 pm ct.
