Henry Carstens
Henry Carstens, age 52, is the founder and a principal of Vertical Solutions. Henry has degrees in Mathematics, Economics and a minor in Physics. A software engineer by training he sold his software company in 1995 and began building and testing trading ideas in 1996. Henry has written over 100 papers on testing and evaluating trading ideas including the use of control charts to investigate and monitor trading edges over time. He is an avid chess player and has been the Chess Coach at the Portland Jewish Academy since 2006.
